ListenSession

Privacy policy

Effective 12 August 2026

What we collect

ListenSession collects a limited set of product-reliability events to understand whether core app flows work. These include authentication outcomes, session request and readiness outcomes, opening the Library or a session, first playable audio, playback start/completion/error, feedback submission outcome, and fixed safe error categories.

Events may include the app environment, platform, release fingerprint, and simple fixed values such as whether audio came from cache. Once you sign in, analytics use your internal ListenSession account UUID only. We do not attach profile properties.

What we do not collect

We do not send listening titles or topics, transcripts, prompts, audio content, feedback text, email addresses, names, phone numbers, advertising identifiers, authentication data, tokens, secrets, raw exception messages, stacks, or provider responses to analytics.

ListenSession does not use session replay, autocapture, advertising integrations, cross-app tracking, surveys, experiments, or feature flags for this analytics program.

Analytics processing

We process the limited analytics data described above only to understand product reliability and improve the app.

Your choice

Analytics are enabled by default in eligible Beta and staging builds. You can turn them off at any time in the app under Profile → Privacy & analytics. Opting out stops future analytics capture and resets the analytics identity. Turning analytics back on starts a fresh anonymous identity and only then reconnects it to your account UUID if you are signed in.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy as ListenSession changes. For a privacy question, contact the ListenSession team through the official support channel provided with the app.
